The Miller McNeil Woodruff Foundation has been influential in spreading awareness about SMA and has been a crucial resource for SMA research, fundraising, patient and family support.

In May of 2019 SMA Gene Therapy was approved by the FDA and I’m With Miller was a crucial financial resource for Cure SMA.

In January of 2019 The Arkansas State Legislature voted on a bill that requires all newborns in the state to be screened for SMA. It passed both the House and Senate unanimously and the Miller McNeil Woodruff Foundation played a major role in lobbying for that bill.
